Gallery: Global Climbing Day 2023
Climbers all over the world came together on Saturday to celebrate Global Climbing Day.
Here in the Front Range, more than 400 climbers flocked to The Spot Denver to climb, eat, drink, dance, and forge friendships. From first-time climbers to North Face athletes Mo Beck, Emily Harrington and Cedar Wright, our community showed up to celebrate each other.
Everyone climbed free thanks to The North Face, making Global Climbing Day our second fully free event of the summer at The Spot Denver! Along with a food truck and tables from some of our favorite climbing organizations, we had tons of free stuff. Intro classes, youth clinics, beverages, a live DJ, a Kilter Board competition, and more were all free of charge, because no one should have to pay to climb on Global Climbing Day.
As the day wound down, we were gifted a beautiful a double rainbow on Delaware Street. We hope your Global Climbing Day was as magical as ours!
