Meet YOUR Instructors:

Aidan

Focuses: Crack climbing, Multipitch climbing (standard/alpine/big wall), Gym-to-crag skills

Instead of limiting myself to one discipline, I’ve committed years to honing in my skills as a boulderer, sport climber, trad climber, and multipitch climber in the alpine and on big walls. I stay up to date on the current climbing trends, new gear, and accident reports, allowing each class I teach to be completely up to date. Climbing excites me, so having the ability to get others psyched, no matter where they are in their climbing journey, is a dream job.

BEN

Focuses: Bouldering, Sport climbing, Technical analysis of movement

I am a routesetter at The Spot and a very passionate boulderer. With over 7 years of coaching experience I have worked with athletes of every ability level and have a passion for helping others learn. Climbing is an extraordinary activity and I really enjoy digging into the different movements you might encounter while building the habits that create a well-rounded climber.

Erin

Focuses: Bouldering, Mental game, Having fun!

It can be really easy to forget why we start climbing in the first place: because climbing is a mental and physical challenge where we can let loose and have FUN. I am here to remind you to play and not take yourself so seriously on the wall. We’re just touching rocks after all.

Josh

Leana

I am very passionate about teaching and super stoked about climbing! I look forward to meeting beginner/intermediate rock climbers where they’re at to help develop and strengthen foundational skills and to build confidence. As a certified yoga teacher with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, I aim to use breathwork and mindfulness techniques alongside physical training regimens to support climbers in what they’d like to work on.

Nichole

Focuses: Sport climbing, bouldering & alpine skills; Body positioning and mental awareness techniques; Introduction to training

Through sharing knowledge and on-the-wall practice, I’m able to bring climbing's holistic benefits to anyone who is ready to dive deeper in their climbing venture. My goal is to make your progress approachable and attainable for your schedule and objectives, regardless of whether you are new and looking for the foundations or a seasoned climber trying to reach your hardest redpoint next season. With my variety of experience in instruction, management, route setting, and travels I will bring a unique perspective to help you shape a productive climbing session

Will

Focuses: Trad climbing, Sport climbing, Anchors

One of my favorite things about rock climbing is introducing newer climbers into the awesome and welcoming community. I focus on making climbing less intimidating, more approachable, more affordable, and preventing injuries. During sessions, I like to focus on finding techniques that will work for anyone, regardless of skill level, age, or body limitations.
